Murphy beds

When I purchased my 2 weeks in a non-oceanfront D unit ~ 20 years ago it was sold as a deluxe 1 bedroom unit with a Murphy bed and a sleep sofa in the living area and a separate bedroom area. With the last renovation, the Murphy bed was removed and a second stationary bed was placed in the living area. This decreased the versatility of the room and changed the configuration such that it no longer can realistically be used or sold as a 1 bedroom deluxe type unit. I have brought this issue up previously at owner's meetings and was told the maintenance cost was high for the prior Murphy beds. I have stayed at numerous other resorts via Interval International trades and there are many different types of hide-away beds on the market and I request that other options other than a standard bed be evaluated for the next upcoming renovation at least in the non-oceanfront D units to restore the versatility of these units to what they were when they were initially designed and purchased!
